I am using Boot Camp running in OS X 10.11.3 to install Windows 10 on a 'Late 2013' iMac with a 1TB hard drive. Boot Camp creates a Boot Camp partition, but when I attempt to install Windows 10 from a USB flash drive, and format the partition, I get this error message: 'We cannot create a new partition or locate an existing one. For more information see the setup log files.' I cannot proceed with the installation, and I cannot locate the log files. I have completely reformatted the hard-drive and reinstalled the system from Time Machine, but I continue to get the same message.

Are there any ideas about how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.
How to Install MacOS Sierra to the New Partition Assuming you backed up, partitioned the Mac, and have macOS Sierra downloaded, you can now safely install MacOS Sierra 10.12 onto the separate partition, this will allow you to preserve your existing OS X installation without potentially messing it up with the new beta system software. If you decide to delete Windows at some point in the future, Boot Camp Assistant can restore your Mac to its pre-Windows configuration. In this guide, we'll look at using an early version of Boot Camp Assistant to partition a Mac hard drive.
